Hi all,

At first sight, The user interface for configuration of Index server
looks like a big mess. I am beginning to find my way around, but I
still have some unanswered questions.

Which catalogs are affected by "Index this resource" setting that you
can set on any directory in IIS? Is it just the Web catalog or all
catalogs in the server?

Right click on your catalog in the Indexing Services MMC, select properties,
and then tracking. Notice the www server drop down box. Whatever web server
selected here is the one which is tracked by this catalog. You will have to
examine all catalogs to determine which web site is tracked by which
catalog.
