I am running Windows 2003 Server with Indexing Service. I have exclude the
Catalogdirectory and the Datadirectory form the anitviral software online and
cyclic Scanner.
I have installt the IFiler Setup form Acrobate for PDF Files.
In the Datadirectory there are 71000 Files evenly distributed in 25000
Directorys.

Here is the dilemma I have:
Index Server reports that the catalog is corrupt after the index process is
completed. This can occur as soon as the indexing process has completed, or
several minutes later.

1. I think the problem is not the anitviral software i have also deactivate
it.
2. I think the problem is not the Registry Key FilterRetries i have set ist
to FilterRetries=2 see Article Q217151
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B217151

Here are the Error Message from the Eventlog:

I have no idea what's the problem is.
Is there a Registry Key exits to log the Detailproblem?

Thanks for help

I did experience something similar some years ago. I think it was due to a
bad iFilter or something in the content itself. Did you run the pdf's
through filtdump?
