Can Index Server index HTML pages on another server?

Tried to create a new catalog on a server with IS running, and specified the
location of another one of our websites located on a different server, i.e.,
http://www.otherserver.com/ and got an error "invalid location"... I'm
assuming IS can only index content on the local drive or a network attached
drive/folder ?

what you can do is deep wget to local dir, indexing and rewriting refs in
results
