Try "E [&] I engineer" ?

If you're not using the SQL search language, I don't know !

Does anyone know how to search for apostrophes in filenames ?
" filename LIKE '%[']%' "
gives
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Indexing Service error '80040e14'
Incorrect syntax near ']'. Expected end-of-file, ')', ';', OR, AND, IS,
IS_NOT, ORDER_BY. SQLSTATE=42000

I guess I may have to use the non-SQL query language ?

You have to remove E and I from your noise word lists and rebuild your
catalog for this to work.
