Capturing search terms

We're running MS Server 03, IIS6, and use the built-in Indexing Service
to provide our search utility. Is there a way to capture the search
terms that users type into the search box?

You either scrape the web logs or programmatically log it to a file.
Indexing Services does not provide an API to extract or log this info.
