Hello to everybody
I'm running win2003 server with indexing service turned on, indexing a
lot of pdf, txt and doc file.
The search could be done via a html page.
when I get results, I decided to show rank, doccomments, doctitle and
characterization properties of documents, and usually with the
characterization property I get the firsts sentences or phrase of each
document
My question is: instead to show the firsts sentences of documents, Is
there a way tho show the sentence that contains the searched words?
I need this because I've got doc or pdf documents larger than 100 pages
and often the searched word isn't in the first page, it could be on the
45th or 97th page, so I'd like to show the phrase containing the
searched word to users.
any help or suggestion will be very helpful for me.
thank you in advance
Sorry for my poor and bad English
