Hello,
I am in the process of developing .xml file search capabilities for my
company and I am attempting to use Quilogic's XML filter. Right now, I
am running tests on my XP machine using their trial .dll file and RAD
tool and I am encountering some problems trying to get this to work.
I use their RAD tool to perform a query on a test file and it generates
the results that I expect. However, getting IS to use the
QXLFilter.dll is another story. When using the "Query the Catalog"
test page i get no results back whatsoever when searching for any text
that was indexed (The filtering that I had set up using the RAD Tool
basically just returned all text that was present in the .xml file). I
also am running a query on the MSIDXS provider using the test catalog I
created that points to a local directory where my .xml files reside.
This query is being done through a vb.net console app. When the
console app runs, it too is unable to find any indexed data.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on? I added a
DefaultColumnFile file to the ContentIndexCommon registry key to
include entries that are generated by Quilogic's RAD Tool, but it still
doesn't seem to index the data correctly.
Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Greg
