Do you mean you included a shared UNC path to your catalog and the content
in the share doesn't get properly indexed?
If so, have you specify correct account to access the share when adding it
into the catalog? It should be a domain account which has permission on the
remote share. If you use a local account, you must ensure the same account
exists on both local indexing server and the remote share machine with the
exactly same username and password.
